Global Customary International Law Index
This analytical monograph is a technical work on the concept of customary international law. We have covered the concept of a Global Customary International Law Index. Traditionally, customary international law is a field in which how states behave and make decisions, the old traditional way is not left unaccounted. In the era of globalization (fourth stage), the purpose of CIL is declining or saturating. It does not anyways mean the end of customary international law – because the transformation of the rules-based international order clearly suggests that there is ample scope for assessing the way international law is widely accepted and put into judicious use by the international community and the ‘subjects’ of international law. This monograph is divided into 9 chapters with a list of references. We have even included an emerging concept in public and private international law, entitled as Soft Law, and have dedicated a special chapter to it. This work is a part of the series of Global Customary International Law Index, a research initiative by Global Law Assembly, the member-organization of Indic Pacific Legal Research LLP.

India-led Global Governance in the Indo-Pacific
The Indo-Pacific Construct has various points of origin and it holds a special importance as a geopolitical construct for India. In this technical report, thus, the focus has been to propose to develop a multi-comprehensive approach (or at least a set of such approaches with some common & uncommon features, which is by all means, Indo-centric (as proposed in this report) (India-led, India-oriented) and reasonable. The report is not limited to the domain of international affairs, and thus, analyses the conceptual importance and relevance of the framework of the Indo-Pacific for practical reasons stated. We therefore look at various visionary considerations that are proposed, and even committed to by various countries, in the proposed geopolitical region. The following sub-portions discuss the most common and significant issues related to the conception of the Indo-Pacific in a distinctive manner.
Artificial Intelligence & Policy in India
The Strategic & Civilized AI Initiative is a policy research initiative started by the Indian Society of Artificial Intelligence and Law in June 2021, which is a replacement to the erstwhile Civilized AI project & the Indian Strategy on AI & Law Programme. The purpose of the renewed initiative is to research on specific and critical role of private and public actors in international AI governance. Specific focus on cultural, educational and policy issues of Indian interests and also in the line of the Indo-Pacific region with respect to AI are covered in this programme. The book presents the Works produced in the research initiative and the erstwhile research initiative since January 2021, which encumbers preliminary and some advanced analysis on the recent developments in the arena of AI Policy and Governance. This book also includes the initial publications in the Civilized AI Project which was started in October 2020.
