This book provides a systematic overview of the current trends in research relating to the use of artificial intelligence in Islamic financial institutions (IFIs), across all organization of Islamic cooperation (OIC) countries. Artificial Intelligence and Islamic Finance discusses current and potential applications of artificial intelligence (AI) for risk management in Islamic finance. It covers various techniques of risk management, encompassing asset and liability management risk, credit, market, operational, liquidity risk, as well as regulatory and Shariah risk compliance within the financial industry. The authors highlight AI’s ability to combat financial crime such as monitoring trad...

In an era where artificial intelligence (AI) shapes industries and societies, the relationship between technology and religious thought is more crucial than ever. “Artificial Intelligence and Islam: Analysing Synergy between Heritage & Digital Age”, offers a groundbreaking exploration of how Religious Heritage and AI can not only coexist but also complement each other. With AI rapidly advancing, ethical concerns about its development and impact arise. How can we ensure that technology upholds human dignity, purpose, and justice? For Muslims, these questions intertwine with centuries of scholarship, ethics, and spirituality. This book delves into how Islamic principles can guide the ethic...

The 2023 2nd International Conference on Information Economy, Data Modeling and Cloud Computing (ICIDC 2023) was therefore held during June 2nd to 4th, 2023 in Nanchang, China (hybrid form). The Conference was attended by more than 100 participants and hosted four keynote speeches, more than 60 oral presentations as well as various poster presentations. The proceedings of ICIDC 2023 cover various topics, including Big Data Finance, E-Commerce and Digital Business, Modeling Method, 3D Modeling, Internet of Things, Cloud Computing Platform, etc. All the papers have been checked through rigorous review and processes to meet the requirements of publication. Data modeling allows us to obtain the dynamic change trend of various indicator data, so how to use big data information to model and study the development trend of economic operation plan is of great significance. And that is exactly the purpose of this conference, focusing on the application of big data in the economic field as well as conducting more profound research in combination with cloud computing.
Volume II continues with reaction rates, the concept of elementary intramolecular vibrational-energy redistribution (IVR) and the phenomena of rotational coherence which has become a powerful tool for the determination of molecular structure via time resolution. The second volume ends with an extensive list of references, according to topics, based on work by Professor Zewail and his group at Caltech. These collected works by Professor Zewail will certainly be indispensable to both experts and beginners in the field. The author is known for his clarity and for his creative and systematic contributions. These volumes will be of interest and should prove useful to chemists, biologists and physicists. As noted by Professor J. Manz (Berlin) and Professor A.W. Castleman, Jr.
These two volumes on Femtochemistry present a timely contribution to a field central to the understanding of the dynamics of the chemical bond. This century has witnessed great strides in time and space resolutions, down to the atomic scale, providing chemists, biologists and physicists with unprecedented opportunities for seeing microscopic structures and dynamics. Femtochemistry is concerned with the time resolution of the most elementary motions of atoms during chemical change - bond breaking and bond making - on the femtosecond (10-15 second) time scale. This atomic scale of time resolution has now reached the ultimate for the chemical bond and as Lord George Porter puts it, chemists are...
