MS Acc10.162 comprises four letters addressed to Alan McLeod from four different publishers of Patrick White's books, written in 1981 in response to questions from McLeod regarding White's style and methods of punctuation (1 packet).
Jan Christian Smuts, Jr. writes to McLeod, 1970-1973, about McLeod editing and publishing Smuts's father's book, Walt Whitman, a study in the evolution of personality (1973); thanks him for a copy of Pattern of Australian culture; and comments about the politics of South Africa.
