This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 43rd DAGM German Conference on Pattern Recognition, DAGM GCPR 2021, which was held during September 28 – October 1, 2021. The conference was planned to take place in Bonn, Germany, but changed to a virtual event due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The 46 papers presented in this volume were carefully reviewed and selected from 116 submissions. They were organized in topical sections as follows: machine learning and optimization; actions, events, and segmentation; generative models and multimodal data; labeling and self-supervised learning; applications; and 3D modelling and reconstruction.

The German Conference on Pattern Recognition is the annual symposium of the German Association for Pattern Recognition (DAGM). It is the national venue for recent advances in image processing, pattern recognition, and computer vision and it follows the long tradition of the DAGM conference series.

Anthropological Abstracts 8/2009
Anthropological Abstracts is a reference journal published once a year in print, and it lists - in English language - most publications in the field of cultural/social anthropology published in the German language area (Austria, Germany, and Switzerland). Since many of these publications have been written in German, and most German publications in anthropology are not included in the major English language abstracting services, Anthropological Abstracts offers a convenient source of information for anthropologists and social scientists in general who do not read German. Included are journal articles, monographs, anthologies, exhibition catalogs, yearbooks, etc. Most abstracts are authored by the editor, while others are specified accordingly. Bequem kann jeder
Unsere Reise beginnt im Norden Spaniens, in Léon. Von dort haben wir uns fest vorgenommen zu unserem Ziel Santiago de Compostela in ca. 320 Km Ferne zu pilgern. Am Anfang fällt es uns sehr schwer einen Rhythmus zu finden, der uns beiden Gerecht wird. Wir werden schnell müde und uns tut alles weh. Aber mit fortschreitender Reise erleben wir wunderbare Dinge und Erfahrungen, die die Unannehmlichkeiten überwiegen. Irgendwann findet sich ein Rythmus, die Kilometer fliegen nur so an uns vorbei, bis sich die Reise ihrem Ende nähert. Bis wir Santiago erreichen, vergehen fast 2 Wochen. Die Anstrengungen war es wert! Sehr emotionale Momente und Gedanken begleiten unsere Reise, die wir in Form von Tagebuchführung festhalten.
