Alexandra Hachmeister’s thesis empirically analyzes and positively answers the question whether informed traders provide liquidity in an open limit order book. The analyses include a detailed market description of the German equity market, a new methodological approach for the identification of informed traders as well as the analysis of the individual liquidity providing and demanding behavior of the identified informed traders.
Where might the next systemic financial crisis come from? And how do we achieve financial stability in a poly crisis world? This book addresses macroeconomic factors, crypto assets, non-bank financial institutions and regulated financial service providers, keeping in mind that each sector can interact with the others to produce a cluster of risks with compounding effects.

We observe their actual current behavior at financial markets and try to assess whether existing theoretical arguments and assumptions are still valid in the world today, or the newly available rich data samples provide new answers to old questions that researchers have not been able to answer before.
In March 2015, the Institute for Law and Finance in Frankfurt am Main held a full-day symposium which brought together leading representatives of the public and private sectors to deliver the first high level response to the questions posed by the Commission’s Green Paper on Building a Capital Markets Union.
