A cirurgia estética é uma área da atuação médica em clara ascensão e que tem suscitado diversos problemas ao nível jurídico. Este texto fornece, assim, uma concisa visão do modo como tem sido entendida a responsabilidade médica entre nós, dando especial enfoque às problemáticas atinentes ao consentimento que é prestado pelo paciente e à natureza da obrigação do médico, sempre em torno da cirurgia estética em específico.
