Division Street
In 2016 the Super Bowl came to San Francisco. The unhoused were moved to Division Street where, officials hoped, they would be 'invisible'. Amid the unlimited wealth of that 'super' week, the unhoused were crowded together in tents or sleeping rough on the ground. No facilities and no promises of permanent housing were given. The voices of the unhoused on Division Street are integral to this project.
