Xacobeo: de un recurso a un evento turístico global es el título del libro que tiene Vd. en sus manos y que intenta mostrar la evolución del acontecimiento Xacobeo desde su génesis contemporánea en 1993 hasta la actualidad, profundizando en algunos aspectos relativos a la última edición celebrada en 2010. Nuestra intención es ayudar a construir un espacio de análisis, reflexión e investigación en relación al propio Xacobeo desde tres puntos de vista: la proximidad de los veinte años de su nacimiento como acontecimiento contemporáneo, la celebración reciente del último Xacobeo en el año 2010, y el horizonte de la próxima celebración en el año 2021.

Beyond Sentidiño: New Diasporic Reflections on Galician Culture is an interdisciplinary study of Galician literature, languages, and cultures. The volume brings together essays from fields across the humanities and social sciences to foster a discussion that incorporates new concepts that, as of now, are not part of the imaginary of Galiza: gentrification, language imperialism, youth unemployment, deruralization and deindustrialization, media control, technocapitalism, and gender and sexual normativity. It also serves to moderate a conversation about how independence from the political, material, and sociocultural networks of autonomic Galiza allows diasporic scholars to think of Galician culture in a de-essentializing manner. Working and living in the diaspora provides a lens through which to unmask the hegemonic neocolonial and neoliberal representation and reproduction of Galicianness promoted by different social, political, and mediatic powers.

La mediación familiar en el sistema jurídico español
La iniciativa legislativa de las Comunidades Autónomas unida al imperativo normativo de la Unión Europea han sido las claves para el desarrollo de la Ley Estatal para la mediación civil y mercantil. La mediación presenta una gran potencialidad como instrumento de gestión de conflictos familiares que permite llegar donde algunas veces la generalidad propia de la norma no lo consigue. Esto nos permite entender que la Mediación Familiar tiene ante sí un largo recorrido, en el que deberá perfeccionarse y superar los obstáculos y desafíos propios de una institución; por un lado, con profundas raíces en nuestra tradición jurídica y, por otro, tan reciente en nuestro Sistema Jurídico. Uno de los principales problemas a los que se enfrenta la mediación no es su falta de regulación, sino la inexistencia de una cultura de mediación.
