Aunque es el uso más generalizado, confiamos en el potencial de las TIC como herramientas que pueden facilitar el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje y las relaciones entre los miembros de un entorno educativo. Son una herramienta útil para que un grupo de personas puedan poten-ciar su comunicación, sentirse parte de una comunidad y cooperar entre ellas en tareas comunes. Las TIC no solo van a posibilitar la comunicación entre alumnos, sino que también entre alumnos y profesorado; y potencia la comunicación entre aquellos alumnos que se presentan poco participativos en las aulas, ayudando a estos a una integración en la comunidad creada.
