Coletânea de Legislação Nacional e Internacional sobre Povos e Comunidades Tradicionais
A presente obra é resultado das duas primeiras fases do projeto de pesquisa intitulado 'Direito ao Etnodesenvolvimento e Políticas Públicas para os Povos e Comunidades Tradicionais do Cerrado Goiano', financiado pela Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de Goiás. Trata-se de uma coletânea dos atos normativos nacionais e internacionais, constitucionais, supra e infraconstitucionais que regulamentam as relações do Estado Brasileiro com os povos e comunidades tradicionais – PCT ́s. O conjunto de atos jurídicos presentes nesta obra foi sistematizado e organizado para contemplar toda a legislação afeta aos povos e comunidades tradicionais, ainda que o tema esteja presente em pequenos trechos. Essa coletânea não esgota a existência de atos publicados que tratam sobre o tema, mas os organizadores elegeram de forma mais abrangente possível aqueles que estão em vigor e nos quais a pesquisa sobre etnodesenvolvimento encontra amparo legal.

Nephrology and Public Health Worldwide
Nephrology is one of the fastest growing specialties in medicine. Nevertheless, kidney disease is one of the most serious unmet health needs in many countries. To provide healthcare access with the desirable equity worldwide, the nephrology community needs to discuss this public health issue and take part in decisions for elaboration of public health policies with more justice and equity. This book brings together key current public health problems that affect kidney function and illuminates them in contributions by an international group of nephrologists and general practitioners. The chapters review current knowledge and provide guidelines to manage these conditions and decrease the disease burden. At the end, developments in the digital era and their application to kidney disease treatment are synthesized, and a broader outlook on the future of nephrology is given. Cellular Mechanisms in Alzheimer’s Disease
Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) is the product of the slow and progressive degenerative alteration that develops in the adult brain and can remain asymptomatic for a considerable time before cognitive deficits becomes evident. The main challenge for researchers is to identify markers of this degenerative process, and, in this sense, data has been generated through experiments bringing to light new mechanisms and hypothesis to explain its pathophysiology. This book is a review of recent studies in AD molecular biology. Chapters explain various facets of AD, which include animal models, morphological changes, membrane composition, amyloidogenic peptides, intracellular transport systems, and the role of oxidative stress and calcium deregulation. Readers will understand the molecular mechanisms behind AD and therefore broaden their perspective on this neurodegenerative disease and its progression.
