Moonhead and the Music Machine [Graphic Novel]

Having a moon for a head at high school is a pretty tricky situation. But when the school talent contest is announced, Joey Moonhead spots an opportunity to impress his classmates with a music machine. An imaginative and visually poetic take on the stock American high school drama, this is one graphic novel that's out of this world!

Typed note from his secretary England Sir Andrew Rae Duncan, GBE (1884 - 1952) was a British businessman who was brought into government during the Second World War, serving twice as both President of the Board of Trade and Minister of Supply. Duncan was a Director of the Bank of England and of Imperial Chemical Industries. He was chairman of the Central Electricity Board from 1927 to 1935, and chairman of the British Iron and Steel Federation from 1935 until 1945. He was elected as a National Member of Parliament (MP) for the City of London in a 1940 by-election and was made a member of the Cabinet and a Privy Counsellor. He was re-elected at the 1945 election, stepped down at the 1950 general election and died in 1952. During his time in ministerial office, there was some concern that someone so closely involved with the iron, steel and chemical industries was in charge of their regulation. However, wartime pressures kept Duncan in post and he was undamaged. He returned to the Iron and Steel Federation after the war, working to resist the Labour government's nationalisation plans with Aubrey Jones, his assistant, later a Conservative minister.

POST-TRAUMATIC STRESS DISORDER... where the past controls today! During his twenty-one years of service, Andrew Rae was on the front line of his state Police Force, confronting scenes that should be viewed only through the sterile screen of a television. Not only were these horrors seen daily but he touched, heard and smelt them. Then, one quiet morning free of the usual chaos and drama, Andrew suffered a breakdown. He was now forced to face his biggest fear and fight his bravest battle... with himself. Based on real life events, Beneath The Cap delves into the tortured minds of three police officers who share a bond much stronger than the uniform they wear. The day about to confront them could be happening to any police officer, anywhere in the world. The story may shock and confront you ...but YOU DECIDE!

My Crazy Inventions Sketchbook

Do you have some crazy inventions up your sleeve?! This book is jam-packed with Andrew Rae's amazing drawings showing all sorts of real inventions that seem too weird to work. How about a dog umbrella? A submarine that looks like a plane... or even a shark. A swimming machine where you don't get wet? A car wash for people? Someone has even made a device to charge your phone using a hamster! There is plenty of inspiration to get kids' minds going, and plenty of room to add their own crazy inventions to the mix. They can design the best dune buggy ever, create a brand new sweet to share with the world, or even draw their very own Transformer dinosaur! Includes a patent certificate for their very own crazy invention!
