Abstract: Lehrpersonen sind im Berufsalltag mit Normen konfrontiert, die in Spannung zu ihrem Lehrerhabitus stehen, gleichzeitig aber bearbeitet werden müssen. Zwischen dem Umgang mit Normen und der Orientierung an (Un-)Gewissheit konnten bereits Zusammenhänge festgestellt werden (Wilken 2021). Dieser Beitrag nähert sich den Fragen, (1) wie sich Professionalisierung in und mit Ungewissheit vollziehen kann und (2), ob und wie Lehrerbildung dies anstoßen kann. Durch die theoretische Zusammenführung des Ungewissheitsdiskurses mit der Praxeologischen Wissenssoziologie wird das Norm-Habitus-Modell in einen neuen Kontext - teach abroad im Lehramtsstudium - gebracht. Konkret wird herausgearbeitet, wie Ungewissheit von Lehramtsstudierenden durch im Ausland gemachte Differenzerfahrungen im Rahmen von teach abroad erlebt wird.
