Unter welchen Bedingungen erlangen schulabschlussgefährdete SchülerInnen dennoch ihren Hauptschulabschluss? Welche institutionellen Faktoren, Interaktionen und subjektiven Nutzungsformen erweisen sich als förderlich, welche als hinderlich? Diese Fragen beantwortet Anke Fuchs-Dorn, indem sie die hessische Fördermaßnahme „SchuB: Lernen und Arbeiten in Schule und Betrieb“ in den Blick nimmt. Sie erarbeitet auf der Grundlage von schul- und sozialisationstheoretischen Bezügen Hypothesen zur Bedeutung von Unterricht, sozialpädagogischer Unterstützung und Praktika in Betrieben. Die zweijährige Begleitung einer SchuB-Klasse und die Befragung der SchülerInnen mit qualitativen Leitfadeninterviews ermöglichen empirisch gestützte Einsichten zum Stellenwert von Lehrer-Schüler-Interaktionen und subjektiver Wahrnehmung, Deutung und Nutzung durch die SchülerInnen. Die Autorin gewinnt neue Erkenntnisse zu Erfolgsbedingungen besonderer schulischer Fördermaßnahmen und erweitert Schul- und Sozialisationstheorien.

Lernen und Kultur
Der Bildungsbegriff umfasst mehr als nur die Heranführung an die kulturellen Errungenschaften einer Gesellschaft im Sinne von Akkulturation, also das Ausstatten der Lernenden mit jenen Kompetenzen, die sie für eine aktive Teilhabe an unserer Kultur benötigen. Dabei kann Lernen, insbesondere schulisches Lernen, niemals ohne Normativität auskommen. Die Frage ist, wie und von wem Normen zu setzen sind, und wie sich diese Normen auf verschiedene Teilbereiche der Lernkultur auswirken. Die Beiträge dieses Bandes betrachten Lernen und Lernkultur multiperspektivisch und erreichen dadurch eine wechselseitige Bereicherung der vertretenen Bildungswissenschaften und deren Teildisziplinen.
