The Great Experiment
The exhibition is in part made in homage to Camilla Gray, the great critic, author, curator and champion of Russian Art. Her major book 'The Great Experiment - Russian Art' was published in 1962, one of the first comprehensive publications on the subject. The exhibition also serves as a tribute to the late Annely Juda, founder of the gallery, who was widely recognised as a key figure in bringing these artists to the British public's attention.

HFT the Gardener
HFT The Gardener presents the culmination of a project comprising multiple bodies of work by the fictional character Hillel Fischer Traumberg. Traumberg is an algorithmic high-frequency trader (HFT), who experiments with psychoactive drugs, and explores the ethno-pharmacology of over a hundred psychoactive plants. He uses gematria (Hebrew numerology) to discover the numerological equivalents of the plants' botanical names with companies in the Financial Times Global 500 Financial Index. He communes with the traditional shamanic users of these plants whose practices include healing, divining the future, entering the spirit world, and exploring the hallucinatory nature of reality. Traumberg develops a fantasy of himself as a techno-shaman, transmuting the spiritual dimensions of the universe and the hallucinogenic nature of capital into new art forms. He becomes an 'outsider artist' whose work is collected by oligarchs and bankers, the world of global capital in which he began. HFT The Gardener is the fifth title to be published on the work of Suzanne Treister by Black Dog Publishing. Previous titles include Nato, Hexen 2.0, Hexen 2039 and Hexen 2.0 Tarot Deck.
Insiders Outsiders
Insiders/Outsiders', published to accompany a UK-wide arts festival of the same name in 2019, examines the extraordinarily rich and pervasive contribution of refugees from Nazi-dominated Europe to the visual culture, art education and art-world structures of the United Kingdom. In every field, emigres arriving from Europe in the 1930s - supported by a small number of like-minded individuals already resident in the UK - introduced a professionalism, internationalism and bold avant-gardism to a British art world not known for these attributes. At a time when the issue of immigration is much debated, the book serves as a reminder of the importance of cultural cross-fertilization and of the deep, long-lasting and wide-ranging contribution that refugees make to British life. Annely Juda Fine will be exhibiting David Hockney's series of 16 iPad drawings; The Arrival of Spring. These bold and striking iPad drawings have been printed on paper in an edition of 25. A further four prints have been printed in large format and mounted on dibond in an edition of 10.
