Drug Treatment of Sleep Disorders
Following reviews on sleep physiology, regulation, pharmacology, and the neuronal networks regulating sleep and awakening, as well as a classification of sleep disorders, this book presents a number of major breakthroughs in the treatment of those disorders. La generosità mostrata nell'accogliere, con entusiasmo, la richiesta di partecipazione e la facondia produttiva evidenziata dai singoli autori hanno portato ad un risultato straordinario, ben oltre le più rosee aspettative. L'inevitabile, ma piacevole, conseguenza è stata la decisione di suddividere i contributi in due tomi, seguendo un criterio tematico: ricordi dei singoli nel primo volume, ricostruzioni storiche e memorie di gruppi e realtà associative nel secondo volume.
