Synodality in Europe – Theological Reflections on the Church on Synodal Paths in Europe
The publication of the ESCT (European Society for Catholic Theology) with the title „Synodality in Europe“ reflects on the synodal process in Europe and challenges of theological work in view of the learning process to become a „synodal church“. The different articles lay theological foundations of synodality, they present regional and world church perspectives, they show tensions and processes of pluralisation which are understood as a „laboratory“ of synodality related to the liberating and healing Gospel of Jesus Christ. Most of the authors are members of different sections of ESCT (in Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Ireland, Lithuania, Portugal, Slovakia and Spain). Integrated are also a protestant and two world-church contributions.

Con questo termine coniato in riferimento ai lavoratori della McDonald’s, la multinazionale del panino più famosa al Mondo, si indica nel linguaggio comune il lavoro sottopagato, sfruttato, mortificato e iper-flessibile. In sostanza i McJobs sarebbero il simbolo dei lavoratori “sfruttati” del XXI secolo globalizzato e le vittime estreme di una cultura del lavoro neo-predatoria espressa dalla McDonald’s. Ma è davvero così? Questo libro sostiene la tesi contraria a quella denigratoria, spingendosi fino a definire il lavoro da McDonald’s (Italia) un esempio virtuoso. Tesi sostenuta a seguito di un’indagine empirica sulla realtà dei McJobs made in Italy, e senza nessuna concessione a suggestioni ideologizzanti. McJob, quindi, come simbolo positivo di una cultura ispirata alla stabilità del lavoro, alla meritocrazia, a una sana flessibilità, alle pari opportunità e a concrete possibilità di carriera per tutti.
