Sendo assim, nesse II Volume de “Mossoró, Conquistas de um Povo”, temos a História da resistência ao Bando de Lampião em 1927, que foi liderada pelo prefeito Rodolfo Fernandes, mas que teve a participação ativa de toda a sociedade mossoroense da época. Temos também a Conquista do primeiro Voto Feminino da América Latina, na pessoa da professora Celina Guimarães Viana. Essa conquista é fruto de toda uma luta que começou após a Revolução Industrial pela afirmação das Mulheres em todo o Mundo.
