Samuel Adams, son of William and Doris Adams and Elizabeth Chenoweth, daughter of Duval and Absalom Chenoweth were married in 1823 in Lawrence County, Illinois. They had twelve children, 1825-1845. Both Samuel and his wife died in 1846. Descendants lived in Illinois, Nebraska, Wyoming, Colorado, Alberta, and elsewhere.
