The 'reasonable person' is used to assess the acceptability of behaviour in many areas of the law. This notion has attracted a great deal of criticism as it presupposes uncontested notions of 'normal' behaviour. This book explores whether there are deeper foundations to these criticisms.
Silas Wilde is all about the outdoors, enjoys simple things, wants nothing to do with a woman invading his life—uninvited—like a tornado dressed in glitz and high heels. Claudia Jacobs loves tulle, shoes, and sparkle. The last thing she needs is to be forced to deal with a grizzly man who prefers the woods to a hotel suite. When Silas and Claudia inherit the same mansion, they will drive each other crazy until one of them gives in. It won't be her. Or him.
In his twenty-five years as a community welfare worker, Les Twentyman has worked with drug addicts, cared for homeless and abused youth, and settled thousands of family disputes. In this powerful book he tells it like he sees it: someone always fighting to improve the lives of those in need.

The cup was presented to the Wagga Wagga CA on the October 20, 1925, by Mr. Thomas Joseph “Tom” O’Farrell, who was a tailor with a business in Wagga Wagga. Its purpose was to raise the standard of country cricket and help arouse the interest and enthusiasm of both players and public in the game. By the original rules, which were drawn up by Mr. O’Farrell, Mr. M. Cusick, and Mr. G. Pinkstone, the cup was won outright by Wagga, who wisely redonated it, and it was put into play in the 1930–31 season as a perpetual challenge trophy for teams within one hundred miles radius of Wagga Wagga. O’Farrell was a frequent spectator at games and often handed over the cup to the winning captain. He was later to say, “I am particularly glad that the competition is doing so much to let the residents of surrounding towns learn more of each other in so friendly a way.”

To spread the joy, People is celebrating Lifetime's holiday movies along with their stars, starting with Christmas Queen Melissa Joan Hart, who has headlined eight films, plus directed, produced and outfitted characters in ugly holiday sweaters from her personal collection. Reba McEntire, Mario Lopez, Marie Osmond and more stars share their own holiday traditions. After everything the world has endured these past few years, couldn't we all use a little (or a lot) more comfort and cheer? Happy Holidays.
