Twelve Keys of Basilius Valentinus is one of the most important alchemical works available to modern students. His writings contain much of interest to the student of alchemy. Whether Basil Valentine is the correct name of the author or an alias does not matter since it detracts nothing from his work or the value of his experiments. https: //ramsalchemy.jimdo.com

BASILIUS VALENTINUS AND HIS TINCTURES FROM ANTIMONY began as a doctoral thesis of Dr. Schein with the University of Munich, and was originally published in German in 1977. It reproduces the procedures set out in the famous alchemical manuscript The Triumphal Chariot of Antimony, by basil Valentine. Dr. Schein proves that modern day alchemists should not shun the growing body of knowledge available since days of old, while, on the other hand, science based investigations of alchemical text would do good not to ignore the alchemists viewpoint as outdated and irrelevant. Ideally, interest in Alchemy will neither remain in the past nor disregard the past, but will help translate alchemical concepts and results into languages used today.
The last vvill and testament of Basil Valentine, monke of the order of St. Bennet: which, being alone, he hid under a table of marble, behind the high-altar of the cathedral church, in the imperial city of Erford: leaving it there to be found by him, whom Gods Providence fhould make wortky of it.
This is an ancient and sacred alchemical text written by Basil Valentine that describes the 12 Keys to the creation of the philosopher's stone.
