Isi buku Energi dan Produksi Bahan Bakar Gas mencakup beberapa bab yaitu sejarah penggunaan bahan bakar gas yang membahas tentang awal dimulainya penggunaan bahan bakar gas, senyawa kimia bahan bakar gas yang membahas tentang beberapa senyawa kimia pembentuk bahan bakar gas, energi bahan bakar gas yang membahas tentang energi yang terkandung dan yang dihasilkan oleh bahan bakar gas, produksi bahan bahan bakar gas yang mencakup produksi bahan bakar gas domestik dan internasional, dan tingkat konsumsi bahan bakar gas yaitu tingkat konsumsi bahan bakar gas domestik dan internasional.

Setiap tahapan di dalam pelaksanaan perancangan kapal, sebagaimana pada alur dari spiral design maupun integrated approach design selalu menjadikan safety sebagai pertimbangan utama. Looping design terus dilakukan hingga tercapai rancangan akhir kapal yang memiliki level safety tertinggi dan standar efisiensi yang memadai. Keseimbangan kedua aspek tersebut menjadi constraint teknis dan ekonomis yang ditonjolkan di dalam setiap pembahasan perancangan hull, permesinan, perpipaan, kelistrikan, dan keseluruhan komponen yang ada di kapal.
