Buku ini merupakan wujud dari perjalanan 25 tahun Fakultas Teknologi Pertanian Unika Soegijapranata. Banyak cerita mengiringi perjalanan fakultas tercinta ini. Terlalu sayang jika tidak dicatat. Penulisan buku dilakukan oleh para tim penulis yang terdiri dari Bernardine Agatha (TP 2017) dan juga teman-teman dari TERASI (Teknologi Pangan Menginspirasi). Kegiatan ini dimulai dengan mencari informasi yang berkaitan dengan FTP Unika Soegijapranata kepada para pendahulu FTP. Semoga kehadiran buku ini bisa ikut memberi pengetahuan dan sumbangsih terhadap semakin meningkatnya kecintaan terhadap FTP Unika Soegijapranata, dan dapat menjadi sebuah memorabilia perjalanan 25 tahun yang melecut semangat kita untuk terus berusaha seturut peran kita masing-masing untuk mewujudkan FTP Unika Soegijapranata yang semakin lebih baik ke depan
Setiap perguruan tinggi memiliki berbagai aktivitas yang dapat dijadikan media untuk perkembangan para mahasiswanya, karena dapat dikatakan bahwa lingkungan kampus merupakan agent of change yang berperan serta berpengaruh besar terhadap peningkatan kemampuan mahasiswanya. Setiap perguruan tinggi menyediakan wadah bagi mahasiswanya untuk menuangkan ide - ide yang dapat meningkatkan perkembangan bakat mereka. Begitupula dengan Universitas Katolik Soegijapranata yang menyediakan fasilitas berupa aktivitas-aktivitas selain perkuliahan. Kegiatan-kegiatan tersebut dibungkus dalam berbagai Organisasi Mahasiswa serta pelatihan – pelatihan yang dapat meningkatkan soft skill mahasiswa. Organisasi yang terbentuk diantaranya berupa Senat Mahasiswa, Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa (BEM), Himpunan mahasiswa, Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa (UKM) dan berbagai organisasi kemahasiswaan lainnya.
