The first book to address issues of suffering as separate from pain that require psychologically and culturally sensitive interventions
William Tayloe (d.ca. 1655) immigrated from England to York County, Virginia, and married Elizabeth Kingsmill. His nephew and heir was also named William Tayloe (d.1710), who immigated during or before 1687 from London to Rappahannock (later Richmond) County, Virginia and married Ann Corbin. Descendants and relatives lived in Virginia, Washington, D.C., Maryland, Alabama and elsewhere.
