Björn Görder analysiert Friedmans negatives Verständnis von Freiheit vor dem Hintergrund von dessen erkenntnistheoretischen und anthropologischen Voraussetzungen und beschreibt die institutionentheoretischen Konsequenzen dieser Theorie. Görder diskutiert Friedmans normative Freiheitstheorie im Horizont philosophischer, theologischer und empirischer Ansätze.
