Language Families in Contact
The book provides an encyclopaedic overview of the language contact between Slavic languages and Romani in Eastern, South-Eastern and East-Central Europe. It is based on Yaron Matras’ pragmatic-functional approach to language contact and follows a new direction in Romani linguistics that conceives Romani as a subgroup of closely related languages rather than a single language. The central topics discussed in the book are: Slavic impact on Romani phonetics and phonology, morphology and syntax; forms and functions of Slavic verbal prefixes in Romani; Slavic impact on the Romani lexicon; Romani elements in the nonstandard lexicon of the Slavic languages; writing Romani with ‘Slavic’ alphabets.

Les Contacts linguistiques franco-polonais
Les contacts linguistiques sont un fondement essentiel à toute comunication, à toute entente entre les hommes. De plus, à une époque où les échanges, les contacts, les relations entre les hommes, les peuples, les sociétés, les cultures se sont identifiés comme jamais auparavant, la question du bilinguisme nous apparaît comme investie d'une importance majeure. L'histoire des rapports entre la langue française et la langue polonaise date de plusieurs siècles. Proměny polonistiky
Kolektivní monografie Proměny polonistiky. Tradice a výzvy polonistických studií připomíná již více než devadesátiletou historii a tradici univerzitní polonistiky v českých zemích. Ta se rozvíjela nejprve na pražské univerzitě, později i v řadě dalších vysokých škol (Ostrava, Brno, Olomouc, Pardubice, Opava aj.).
