Dibujo tridimensional y diseño: una mirada desde la academia
Este libro captura el resultado de una investigación en el programa de diseño industrial de la Universidad Autónoma de Colombia, gracias a la cual se indagaron las prácticas de enseñanza de los profesores así como el aprendizaje de sus estudiantes, que conllevan a formalizar el dibujo como una herramienta de comunicación práctica de necesario uso entre profesionales del diseño. Posterior a la observación de deficiencias en el empleo de la "mano alzada" en estudiantes se llega a la hipótesis que inculpa el excesivo empleo del computador en operaciones de comunicación por lo cual se pierden las competencias naturales del trabajo manual. Esta publicación muestra tanto la metodología del trabajo realizado así como los hallazgos encontrados en este recorrido.
Trial and Error in Journalism and Communication Education
This book explores the challenges of teaching journalism and communication in an ever-changing media environment. It considers the classroom as a space of “trial and error” and, therefore, of necessary innovation. It brings together professors and students from different universities across Europe to recount their teaching and learning experiences. The book also provides training proposals which offer an insight into the ongoing international debate on which teaching trends and practices can be effective in the digital environment. As such, the text will contribute to strengthening the university teaching of professional communicators based on technological innovation and critical thinking.

The Mediterranean region under climate change
This book has been published by Allenvi (French National Alliance for Environmental Research) to coincide with the 22nd Conference of Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP22) in Marrakesh. It is the outcome of work by academic researchers on both sides of the Mediterranean and provides a remarkable scientific review of the mechanisms of climate change and its impacts on the environment, the economy, health and Mediterranean societies. It will also be valuable in developing responses that draw on “scientific evidence” to address the issues of adaptation, resource conservation, solutions and risk prevention. About Trees
About Trees considers our relationship with language, landscape, perception, and memory in the Anthropocene. The book includes texts and artwork by a stellar line up of contributors including Jorge Luis Borges, Andrea Bowers, Ursula K. Le Guin, Ada Lovelace and dozens of others. Holten was artist in residence at Buro BDP. While working on the book she created an alphabet and used it to make a new typeface called Trees. She also made a series of limited edition offset prints based on her Tree Drawings.

The Things We've Seen
