Digital technologies are changing the way in which we can understand and analyse history and its associated artefacts. The aim of this book is to encapsulate the potential that digital technologies pose for medieval material culture, providing examples of leading projects worldwide which are enabling new forms of research in this area. The text aims to provide a broad overview of the type of tools now used by historians--such as text encoding, digitization, and visualization--and juxtaposing these with core concerns from historians investigating particular research questions. A Victorian Dissenter
This book introduces the reader to Robert Govett (1813-1901), dissenting clergyman and author, who wrote as a scholar of biblical prophecy, primarily on the subject of the "exclusion" of believers in the Millennial Kingdom, an idea of which he conceived. The purpose of the book is threefold: (1) to describe Govett, his life, and his printed work; (2) to analyze Govett's eschatological beliefs, especially those he originated; and (3) to investigate why a respected theologian in England, who had published over 180 books and tracts, disappeared from dissenting print culture early in the twentieth century. Govett's doctrine of exclusion was heavily intertwined with most of his writings. It was a topic that he developed throughout his career. Yet, as the center of dispensationalism shifted to America, Govett's views of the Rapture began to be seen as extreme. The book explains why Govett was eclipsed as the center of the evangelical movement shifted and its theology ossified. Since his death, Govett has been occasionally remembered in scholarship, but with increasing inaccuracies and skepticism. This book seeks to remove the mystery.

In June 2005 the Lord purpose in my heart to learn more about His word. Having a thirsty for knowledge the Spirit led me to Virginia Baptist College (seminary school). Been obedient to the Spirit of God He blessed me to receive my Master degree in Ministry (Theology) May of 2008. It was during my training there I was lead to write this book Marriage, Seeing it Gods way. Many times I prayed asking God to show me how to be a good husband according to his word. While writing this book the Lord helped me achieve the desires of my heart by becoming a loving husband. After so many years of doing things wrong in the marriage I had a yearning to do it Gods way and fulfilled my purpose as a husband. ...
