This book affirms the gifts, talents and uniqueness of boys of color, while introducing them to their legacy of resilience, courage and strength. Each day comes equipped with reflection questions for boys to answer, discuss and share with others, as well as impactful activities that bring to life what they are learning and experiencing each day. This is a great book for educators, mentors, parents and anyone who works with boys of color, as it gives them an opportunity to facilitate discussion about the various historical happenings of African-Americans, as well as gives boys a platform to express their thoughts and feelings about racism, inequity in education and how the world views boys of color.
