'Escolas, violências e educação física' é um livro que compila visões sobre a escola, o papel e a importância da educação, em especial à disciplina de educação física, que pode ser um instrumento de auxílio contra a violência ocorrida dentro do ambiente escolar. A obra, organizada pelos professores Mauricio Murad, Roberto Ferreira dos Santos e Carlos Alberto Figueiredo da Silva, é uma iniciativa que pode auxiliar a entender o processo de realidades plurais e diversificadas, ao trabalhar conceitos como valores da cidadania, redefinir o sentido de escola, de modo a entender e enfrentar "um dos mais graves problemas do Brasil na atualidade, inclusive no interior das escolas: a violência." O livro, com dez artigos escritos ao todo por um grupo de vinte e cinco autores, perpassa pela conceituação de violência, compila pesquisas em escolas e indica algumas soluções de combate às diversas práticas de violências, sejam elas físicas, de gênero ou psicológicas, cujas principais vítimas são jovens e crianças em processo de formação.

This book presents recent significant research dealing the economics of emerging markets. The term emerging markets is commonly used to describe business and market activity in industrialising or emerging regions of the world. The term is sometimes loosely used as a replacement for emerging economies, but really signifies a business phenomenon that is not fully described by or constrained to geography or economic strength; such countries are considered to be in a transitional phase between developing and developed status. Examples of emerging markets include China, India, Mexico, Brazil, much of Southeast Asia, countries in Eastern Europe, parts of Africa and Latin America. An emerging market is sometimes defined as "a country where politics matters at least as much as economics to the markets."

"Abstract: The state of Pará in northern Brazil is located entirely within the Amazon Basin and harbors a great diversity of landscape and vegetation types that support high levels of biodiversity. Here, we provide a comprehensive inventory of ant species and their distribution in Pará. This regional list is based on an extensive review of species records from published and unpublished sources covering a period of 134 years (1886-2020) and includes the five most representative ant collections in Brazil. Jimmy Page in Brazil
immy Page is still recognized as one of the most influential guitarists of all time and one of the most important rock composers worldwide. And Page's relationship with Brazil is old: in addition to having starred in many meetings with national music stars, the Led Zeppelin guitarist spent seasons in Bahia and inaugurated Casa Jimmy to house homeless youth in the capital of Rio de Janeiro – which earns him the title of Honorary Citizen of Rio de Janeiro. This intense story is the theme of Jimmy Page in Brazil, a bilingual book (Portuguese / English) by journalist and musician Leandro Souto Maior. The book has a preface by Ed Motta, one of the greatest collectors and connoisseurs of Led Zeppelin's work in Brazil, and postscript by young guitarist Sebastião Reis, the son of musician Nando Reis, what confirms that the band has crossed generations. The layout and cover bear the signature of Tomás Paoni, the artistic director of the project. The cover photo is by Marcos Hermes, a great photographer in the Brazilian music market.
