Acta Conventus Neo-Latini Lovaniensis
Every third year, the members of the International Association for Neo-Latin Studies (IANLS) assemble for a week-long conference. Over the years, this event has evolved into the largest single conference in the field of Neo-Latin studies. The papers presented at these conferences offer, then, a general overview of the current status of Neo-Latin research; its current trends, popular topics, and methodologies. Dos siglos de imagen de Andalucía
Los textos que componen 'Dos siglos de imagen de Andalucía' son el resultado de la reflexión y el análisis de las jornadas homónimas que se celebraron en Sevilla los días 7 y 8 de noviembre de 2005 organizadas por esta Fundación. El libro ha sido coordinado por el investigador Alberto Egea Fernández-Montesinos. 'Dos siglos de imagen de Andalucía' está estructurado en cuatro bloques temáticos: el primero trata la imagen de Andalucía en la historia y la antropología, el segundo la imagen en la literatura, el tercero en el campo del turismo y el cuarto en los medios de comunicación. El primer capítulo, "Latifundistas y militares en la represión del sur", está escrito por el prestigioso historiador británico y reconocido hispanista Paul Preston, que actualmente dirige el Centro de Estudios Hispánicos en la London School of Economics. Los otros autores que han contribuido con sus textos a este libro son: José Aguilar, Juan Antonio Díaz López, Alberto Egea, Manuel Hijano del Río, Michael Jacobs, Jo Labanyi, Carmen Lasso de la Vega, Isidoro Moreno, Parvati Nair, Barbara Probst Solomon, Fernando Ruiz Morales y Christ Stewart.
