William Lindsay Raley was born August 26, 1917 in Jefferson, Chesterfield, South Carolina. His parents were Leonard Ervin Raley (1888-1951) and Zella Lillian Lowry (1911-1973). He married Thelma Felton Hollister June 7, 1958. They had one son. Traces the descendants of their earliest known ancestors on their Raley, Hollister, Lowry and Miller lines. Descendants and relatives lived in South Carolina, Florida, Texas, Mississippi, North Carolina and elsewhere.

The Boso Family (Boisseaux), 1757-1977

Jean Baptiste Boisseaux, a Huguenot, immigrated from France to the United States to fight in the French Army under General Lafayette in the American Revolutionary War. He settled afterwards in Pennsylvania, married Barbara Frick, and later moved to land in Wood County, Virginia (now West Virginia), where he died after 1834. Descendants lived in West Virginia and elsewhere.
