He immigrated to America ca. 1686 and settled in Stratford, Fairfield Co., Connecticut. Robert married Sarah Wilcoxson 30 June 1695. They lived in Connecticut and were the parents of seven children. Descendants lived in Connecticut, New York, Massachusetts, Ohio and elsewhere.
