The Descendents [sic] of Johann Nicholaus Heinrich Kress (Cress).
Johann Nicholaus Heinrich Kress (1721- ) immigrated, with three brothers, from Steinau on the Road, Hesse-Nassau, Germany to America in 1752. By 1770, he settled at Mecklenburg (now Cabarrus) Co., North Carolina and died in 1783.
The Conner Family of Northampton County, North Carolina
Burrell Conner (ca. 1774-before 1810), perhaps a native of England, married Suana/Susannah Futrel (ca. 1765-before 1810) ca. 1782 in Northampton County, North Carolina. Their grandson, Elijah Washington Conner, Sr. (1830-1896) was born in Northampton County, the son of Joel Conner (1785-1872). He married Barbara Peebles (1833-1905) in 1855 in Northampton County, North Carolina. They had ten children, 1856-1877. He died at Laker, North Carolina. Descendants lived in North Carolina, Virginia, Florida, Texas, California, and elsewhere.
The Descendants of Neil Culbreth of Sampson County and Cornelius Autry of Edgecombe County, North Carolina and Allied Families
Cornelius Autry of Edgecombe, North Carolina, died in the late 1770's. He, his wife and family settled on what was later called Autry's Creek in Edgecombe County. Descendants and relatives lived in North Carolina, Arkansas, Georgia, Alabama, Missouri and elsewhere.
