Hij was de motor voor boeken zoals ' De Bierkeu-ken van 't Hommelhof' het restaurant van Stefaan Couttenye in Watou. Michael Jackson de 'Beerhunter' schreef over dit boek lovend in The Independent.Het boek werd door Toerisme Vlaanderen en de brouwers in grote aantallen aangekocht en verdeeld.Het boek 'Bier op het bord' volgde in samenwerking met uitgeverij Lannoo.Zoals steeds was Marc geboeid door streekverhalen en voor 'El Gusto' schreef hij een verhaal over restaurant d'Hoogh in Mechelen. Hier werd het als 'Oosters Katoen' opgenomen.Restaurant Keldermans uit Aalst vormt eveneens het decor voor het verhaal ' Wild van de zee'.
