Drama in Foreign Language Education
Drama pedagogy has been undergoing considerable changes over the last few years. The diversification of dramatic texts and performative practices both analogue and digital impacts on foreign language education and requires new forms of literacies for teachers and learners. This volume brings together papers that theorize and investigate current teaching perspectives at the nexus of drama-oriented and performative teaching and foreign language education. Christiane Lütge holds the Chair of Teaching English as a Foreign Language at the University of Munich. Her research interests include digital literacy and literary learning as well as inter- and transcultural learning and global citizenship education in EFL. Max von Blanckenburg is postdoctoral researcher at the Chair of Teaching English as a Foreign Language at the University of Munich. His research centres on the role and potential of rhetoric in foreign language education, on literary and performative teaching as well as on digital literacies.

Neue Wege des Französischunterrichts
Angesichts des Wandels hin zu einer digitalen Welt sollten Forschungsrichtungen, die sich mit Sprache/n befassen, mit ihrem jeweiligen Potenzial neu betrachtet und stärker miteinander verknüpft werden. Im Kontext des Fremdsprachenunterrichts kommen fachdidaktische und sprachwissenschaftliche Forschungsrichtungen zusammen, z.B. bei der Verknüpfung von Ansätzen aus der Mehrsprachigkeitsdidaktik und der Linguistic-Landscape-Forschung. Bei beiden nimmt die Sichtbarkeit bzw. Wahrnehmung von Sprache/n eine bedeutende Rolle ein. Der Französischunterricht kann hierbei dadurch profitieren, dass mittels digitaler Medien ein Zugang zur Fremdsprache auch ohne unmittelbaren Kontakt zu einem fremdsprachlichen Gegenüber vermittelt werden kann. Die Beiträge des vorliegenden Bands tragen dazu bei, den Austausch zwischen Fachwissenschaft, Fachdidaktik und der konkreten schulischen Praxis vor dem Hintergrund der Digitalisierung fördern.

Ernst Clement Helpenstell was born 23 October 1775. His second wife was Anna Cathrina Deutser. Their son, Johann Wilhelm Helpenstell, was born 16 September 1816 in Helpenstell, Prussia. He emigrated and settled in Texas. Descendant Jewell Huntington Helpinstill married Mina Elizabeth Seelbach, descendant of Daniel Seelbach.
