Este libro es una obra colectiva, donde se evidencia el diálogo construido con las comunidades de cuatro localidades ubicadas en los departamentos de Putumayo, Nariño, Cauca y Valle del Cauca, conocida como la región del Suroccidente colombiano. A través de sus capítulos se evidencia cómo el arte, la creación, las expresiones estéticas y el ethos que se va configurando, representan formas de la diversidad cultural, reflejando un pensar, un sentir, una proyección existencial de las comunidades y asociaciones en la construcción de territorios.

Para entender a cabalidad la amplia dimensión que alcanza el Concurso de Relato Autobiográfico Breve creado por la Universidad Autónoma de Occidente, es conveniente recordar el punto de partida de esta convocatoria: estimular a los jóvenes universitarios a desarrollar sus habilidades para la escritura y la comunicación de ideas propias y reflexiones ligadas a sus historias de vida y así superar el recuerdo anecdótico para mostrar rasgos de originalidad propia.

Acute Ischemic Stroke

Los discursos sobre las tecnologías nos hablan de la urgencia para que tengan un lugar en la enseñanza y en las aulas, no obstante, pese a reconocer su importancia, este llamado no se suele acompañar de la apertura para conversar entre colegas sobre qué hacer y cómo planear la enseñanza. En este trabajo se presenta lo que hace un grupo de profesores de colegios oficiales, en el municipio de Yumbo y en Cali, para enseñar a leer cuentos policiacos en formato hipermedial, para enseñar a argumentar con la mediación de una plataforma o los esfuerzos para transformar la emisora escolar análoga en una emisora virtual.
