Esta publicación recoge una cincuentena de aportaciones referidas al turismo, al ocio y a los espacios de recreo. Este libro conmemora 100 años de excavaciones arqueológicas en la ciudad antigua de Baelo (Cádiz) a través de 100 fotografías, comentadas por arqueólogos que participaron en dichas excavaciones hasta la actualidad. Supone la valorización del archivo de imágenes de la Casa de Velázquez, fruto de un proyecto junto con la Universidad Autónoma de Madrid que permite, por un lado, profundizar en el conocimiento y desarrollo de las investigaciones arqueológicas llevadas a cabo en el yacimiento, no siempre publicadas y dadas a conocer tan sólo por informes administrativos; y por otro, desde la perspectiva de una arqueología más social, dar a conocer e ilustrar la historia generada por el propio yacimiento en su última centuria.
