The Middle Voice and Connected Constructions in Ibero-Romance
The reflexive constructions that are the focus of this book are the constructions broadly described with the term “middle”: i.e., those that can appear in all persons, and in which the reflexive marker (RM) cannot be understood as a full referential pronoun. One goal of this study is to provide a corpus-based typology of middle and related uses that allow us to compare the behaviour of the RM in these constructions with previous typological accounts, where competing models (based either on changes of diathesis or on the semantics of the verbal event) can be found. Language contact
Contact linguistics is the overarching term for a highly diversified field with branches that connect to such widely divergent areas as historical linguistics, typology, sociolinguistics, psycholinguistics, and grammatical theory. Because of this diversification, there is a risk of fragmentation and lack of interaction between the different subbranches of contact linguistics. Nevertheless, the different approaches share the general goal of accounting for the results of interacting linguistic systems. This common goal opens up possibilities for active communication, cooperation, and coordination between the different branches of contact linguistics. This book, therefore, explores the extent to which contact linguistics can be viewed as a coherent field, and whether the advances achieved in a particular subfield can be translated to others. In this way our aim is to encourage a boundary-free discussion between different types of specialists of contact linguistics, and to stimulate cross-pollination between them.

Yeniden Yapılandırılması Gereken Bir Kurum Olarak İflas ve Konkordatonun İşlememesinin Sebepleri
Bildiğiniz üzere, Medeni Usul ve İcra İflas Hukukçuları Birliği’nin 2015 yılında Adalet Bakanlığının ve Türkiye Adalet Akademisinin destekleriyle Antalya’da yapılan on üçüncü toplantısı “Yeniden Yapılandırılması Gereken Bir Kurum Olarak İflas ve Konkordatonun İşlememesinin Sebepleri”ne tahsis edilmiş bulunmaktadır. İşte, 2015 yılı Antalya toplantısında iflas ve konkordato kurumları ele alınarak her iki hukuki çare derinliğine tartışılmış; bilimsel değeri yüksek tebliğler sunulmuş, ilginç önerilerde bulunulmuştur. Hiç kuşkusuz bu tartışma ve öneriler birkaç ay önce başlayan yeni İcra ve İflas Kanunu çalışmalarında büyük önemi haiz olup, birçok noktada Bilim Komisyonuna yol gösterecektir.
