He married Elizabeth Updike about 1663 who was baptized 27 July 1644 in Dutch Town of New Amsterdam and died between 25 Dec. 1712 and 26 Apr. 1716. She was the daughter of Sieur Gysbert and Catherine (Smith) op d(en) dyck (Updyke).
