PARLE '94 Parallel Architectures and Languages Europe
This volume presents the proceedings of the 5th International Conference Parallel Architectures and Languages Europe (PARLE '94), held in Athens, Greece in July 1994. PARLE is the main Europe-based event on parallel processing. Parallel processing is now well established within the high-performance computing technology and of stategic importance not only to the computer industry, but also for a wide range of applications affecting the whole economy. The 60 full papers and 24 poster presentations accepted for this proceedings were selected from some 200 submissions by the international program committee; they cover the whole field and give a timely state-of-the-art report on research and advanced applications in parallel computing.

Bilderbuchanalyse
Bilderbücher spielen nicht nur für die frühkindliche Bildung und Medienerziehung eine zentrale Rolle. In den letzten Jahrzehnten haben sich komplexe Formen der Interdependenzen von Bild und Text und eine lebhafte Rezeption der Bildenden Kunst sowie der Medienkultur entwickelt. Dieser Band führt umfassend in das Bilderbuch als Buchgattung ein, dabei steht die narratoästhetische Analyse in Bild und Text im Zentrum. Exemplarisch angewandt wird der Ansatz durch Beispielanalysen von Mareile Oetken, Annika Sevi, Mirijam Steinhauser und Michael Staiger, die verschiedene Bilderbücher und Apps untersuchen. Kapitel zur Didaktik des Bilderbuchs sowie ein Glossar zur Fachterminologie runden die Einführung ab. Die 2. Auflage wurde aktualisiert, ergänzt und um ein Kapitel zur historischen Entwicklung des Bilderbuchs erweitert.
Graphisme en France 2009 - 2013
Le Centre national des arts plastiques soutient le développement du design graphique. A cette fin, chaque année, depuis 1994, chercheurs, sociologues, critiques et professionnels du graphisme partagent leur regard et leurs recherches sur les grandes thématiques qui animent la création graphique dans la revue Graphisme en France, revue annuelle destinée à l’ensemble des professionnels du design graphique et de la communication.
