Trata-se, especificamente, de compreender como a dinâmica da articulação entre questões político-militares e econômicas imprimiu coesão a uma estratégia pragmática de barganha adotada pelo Brasil em suas relações internacionais, sobretudo no relacionamento bilateral com os Estados Unidos.
