El turismo sostenible en Colombia: retos y oportunidades
Este libro presenta los resultados de una investigación sobre el rol que puede jugar el turismo en materia de reducción de la pobreza, promoviendo al mismo tiempo el desarrollo sostenible, con énfasis en el caso colombiano. El crecimiento del turismo implica una generación cada vez más importante de ingresos, sin embargo lo anterior no significa que estos ingresos adicionales tengan la capacidad de reducir la pobreza y mejorar las condiciones de vida de la población receptora. En este sentido, la capacidad del turismo para reducir la pobreza no será la misma, dependiendo de cuándo, dónde y cómo esta actividad se desarrolle, pues no se trata solo de generar recursos mediante la actividad turística y ejecutar mecanismos y condiciones para que los ingresos tengan un impacto sobre la reducción de la pobreza. También es necesario desarrollar la actividad turística sin dejar de lado la preservación del medioambiente y los recursos patrimoniales materiales e inmateriales disponibles en el territorio.

Decolonial Feminisms, Power and Place
This book draws on participatory ethnographic research to understand how rural Colombian women work to dismantle the coloniality of power. It critically examines the ways in which colonial feminisms have homogenized the "category of woman,” ignoring the intersecting relationship of class, race, and gender, thereby excluding the voices of “subaltern women” and upholding existing power structures. Supplementing that analysis are testimonials from rural Colombian women who speak about their struggles for sovereignty and against territorial, sexual, and racialized violence enacted upon their land and their bodies. By documenting the stories of rural women and centering their voices, this book seeks to dismantle the coloniality of power and gender, and narrate and imagine decolonial feminist worlds. Scholars in gender studies, rural studies, and post-colonial studies will find this work of interest.

Esta obra sintetiza el proceso de montaje artístico y teatral mediante la metodología de células creativas, que permite orientar a comunidades académicas en la concepción de propuestas escénicas desde sus expectativas artísticas y argumentativas. Desde su ser estético con referentes artísticos a partir del teatro universal, el cine o la literatura, y desde su ser pedagógico con intenciones de enseñanza y aprendizaje para la construcción de una propuesta estética y didáctica, los estudiantes participantes en esta apuesta creativa bajo la orientación del autor consolidaron tres obras: “La magia de los peces”, “El llamado del vacilante” y “La avenida siento con cinco”, que tienen en cuenta un contexto nacional de posconflicto, donde la construcción de culturas de paz, la perspectiva investigativa del teatro del oprimido y la pedagogía del diálogo se entrelazan en un proceso de investigación- creación en aula.
