Analyzes Elvis Presley's performances at the Las Vegas Hilton in 1974, particularly the midnight show of 2 September, called "Desert Storm" by fans because of "The drugs dialogue," later released by the Fort Baxter label in 1994 as a bootlegged CD entitled "Desert Storm," although off-line cassette recordings had long been in circulation. Also analyzes the University of Maryland Cole Field House (College Park, Maryland) performances of September 27-28, 1974, reputed to be Elvis' "worst concerts ever," also released as a bootleg recording entitled "Chaos in College Park" by the Straight Arrow label. One chapter each is also dedicated to the Detroit concert at Olympia Stadium September 29, 1974, and the afternoon performance at the Indianapolis, Indiana Expo Center of October 5, 1974.
