Photocopy of a diary kept by David McConnel on a voyage from Portsmouth to Sydney in 1840. Included are also a list of letters written in 1840 and 1841 and a list of birds purchased in 1840. Record also contains diary entries of his wife's journeys 1899 to 1903.
