David Denton was born 31 March 1833 in Warren County, Georgia. His parents were Aaron Denton and Drucilla. He married Rachel Matilda Stapleton in 1857. They had one son who died young. He married Alpha Beatrice Hobbs and they had one son who died in infancy. David died 12 February 1925 in Stapleton, Georgia.
