John Hinshaw (1741/1748-1800) immigrated from Ireland to Orange County, North Carolina, and in 1774/1776 married widow Ruth (Pike) Weisner (widow of Michael Weisner). Descendants and relatives lived in North Carolina, New England, Indiana and elsewhere. Includes ancestors in Ireland and England.
