In the last twenty years scholarship on late antique and early medieval Ravenna has resulted in a certain number of publications mainly focused on the fields of architecture, mosaics and archaeology. On the contrary, much less attention has been paid on labour – both manual and intellectual – as well as the structure of production and objects derived from manufacturing activities, despite the fact that Ravenna is the place which preserves the highest number of historical evidence among all centres of the late Roman Mediterranean. Its cultural heritage is vast and composite, ranging from papyri to inscriptions, from ivories to marbles, as well as luxury objects, pottery, and coins. Starting from concrete typologies of hand-manufactured goods existing in the Ravennate milieu, the book aims at exploring the multifaceted traditions of late antique and early Byzantine handicraft from the fourth to the eighth century AD. Its perspective is to pay attention more on patronage, social taste, acculturation, workers and the economic industry of production which supported the demand, circulation and distribution of artefacts, than on the artistic evaluation of the objects themselves.
The High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program (HAARP) project is research funded by the United States Air Force, the Navy and the University of Alaska with the official purpose of understanding, simulating and controlling ionospheric processes that could change the operation of communications and surveillance systems. It started in 1993 with a series of experiments over twenty years. It is similar to numerous existing ionospheric heaters around the world, and has a large number of diagnostic instruments with the aim of improving the scientific knowledge of ionospheric dynamics. Majalah Mitra GKI SW Jateng Edisi 16 untuk bulan September - Desember 2021 ini hadir dengan tema “FAMILY MINSITRY” dengan harapan dapat menambah wawasan / pemahaman kita bersama supaya gereja (terkhusus GKI di lingkup SW Jateng) dapat meningkatkan pelayanan pastoral bagi anggota jemaat, simpatisan (umat) dalam menghidupkan kembali Ibadah Keluarga yang hampir hilang serta membangun iman seluruh anggota keluarga karena basis iman adalah keluarga dan di masa-masa pandemi ini adalah kesempatan yang sangat baik untuk memulainya.
PERCERAIAN DAN PERNIKAHAN KEMBALI. Tema ini dipilih dengan harapan dapat menambah wawasan / pemahaman bagi gereja (terkhusus GKI di lingkup SW Jateng) atas pergumulan mengenai apakah perceraian dan pernikahan kembali diizinkan oleh Alkitab mengacu pada kata-kata Yesus dalam Matius 5 : 32 dan 19 : 9.
