This volume was first published by Inter-Disciplinary Press in 2016. This volume crashes through many boundaries: between academic disciplines, between nations and cultures, and finally between the concepts ‘time’, ‘space’, and ‘body’. With contributors from architecture, literary studies, education, cultural studies, and other fields, chapters take a special interest in the body as it is constructed, scripted, and performed through time and space. Arranged into sections for ease of use in the advanced university course, chapters explore significant questions for the 21st century: What is time? What is the relationship between space and existence? Who controls our bodies? Is there hope for the future given hegemonic controls on the body? Desde a sua fundação, no ano de 2018, o IBPEL preocupa-se em desenvolver estudos, cursos, seminários e debates sobre temas relacionados à liberdade de expressão, direito fundamental tão relevante para o bom funcionamento da democracia e do pluralismo em que se funda nossa sociedade. A presente obra coletiva é fruto do Concurso de Artigos realizado pelo IBPEL, em parceria com a OAB/MG, no ano de 2023.
