Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta proudly invite all students, researchers and academia to participate in the International Conference on Economics and Business Studies (ICOEBS). This conference is a part of a conference program called International Summit on Science Technology and Humanity (ISETH) 2022 Organized by Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta and will be held on 5-6 December 2022. This year's conference's theme is Green Business in Emerging Economies; Current Issues and Future Challenges. ICOEBS aims to provide opportunities for students, scholars and practitioners to present original research articles, unpublished research and novelties in Economics and Business studies. Full paper submission deadline is 8 November 2022.

Industri pariwisata mengalami perubahan signifikan dengan adanya Metaverse dan VR. Teknologi ini menawarkan pengalaman wisata yang melampaui batasan fisik dan geografis, memberikan kesempatan bagi para wisatawan untuk menikmati destinasi impian tanpa harus berpindah tempat. ICASI 2020
As an annual event, The 3rd INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON ADVANCE & SCIENTIFIC INNOVATION (ICASI) 2020 continued the agenda to bring together researcher, academics, experts and professionals in examining selected theme by applying multidisciplinary approaches. In 2020, this event will be held in 20 June at Garuda Plaza Hotel Medan. The conference from any kind of stakeholders related with Management, Economy, Administration Business, Tourism, Policy, Law, Operation Management and all research in Social Science and Humanities. A Survey of Core Research in Information Systems
The Information Systems (IS) discipline was founded on the intersection of computer science and organizational sciences, and produced a rich body of research on topics ranging from database design and the strategic role of IT to website design and online consumer behavior. In this book, the authors provide an introduction to the discipline, its development, and the structure of IS research, at a level that is appropriate for emerging and current IS scholars. Guided by a bibliometric study of all research articles published in eight premier IS research journals over a 20-year period, the authors identify and present the top 51 IS research topics. For each topic, they provide a brief overview, time trends, and references to related influential research works. The topics are organized into an IS research framework that includes research on the IT artifact and IS development, IT and organizations, IT and individuals, IT and markets, and IT for teamwork and collaboration.
Building Back Better: How Big Are Green Spending Multipliers?
This paper provides estimates of output multipliers for spending in clean energy and biodiversity conservation, as well as for spending on non-ecofriendly energy and land use activities. Using a new international dataset, we find that every dollar spent on key carbon-neutral or carbon-sink activities can generate more than a dollar’s worth of economic activity. Although not all green and non-ecofriendly expenditures in the dataset are strictly comparable due to data limitations, estimated multipliers associated with spending on renewable and fossil fuel energy investment are comparable, and the former (1.1-1.5) are larger than the latter (0.5-0.6) with over 90 percent probability. These findings survive several robustness checks and lend support to bottom-up analyses arguing that stabilizing climate and reversing biodiversity loss are not at odds with continuing economic advances.
