Modelling, Control and Stability Analysis of Photovoltaic Systems in Power System Dynamic Studies
This thesis investigates the impact of: i) the low voltage ride-through and dynamic voltage support capability; ii) the active current recovery rate; iii) the local voltage control; and iv) the plant-level voltage control of large-scale photovoltaic systems on short-term voltage stability and fault-induced delayed voltage recovery as well as transient and frequency stability. Resilient Operation of Distribution Grids with Distributed-Hierarchical Architecture
This thesis is about the design and the implementation of a resilient grid operation for the distribution grid. This research question is induced by the advancing of three trends: Decarbonisation, decentralisation and digitalisation. These three trends transform the hitherto passive distribution grid into an active system that contains an active operation. The term “resilience” describes capabilities of the system to absorb, to adapt, and to recover from faults and disturbances. This concept is realised on the one hand with the choice of the operation architecture, on the other hand for the choice of possible methods and functions. This thesis develops a distributed-hierarchical operation architecture. For this architecture several methods have been developed that optimally benefit from the operation architecture and that allow the fully automated operation of the distribution grid. For that purpose a heuristic optimisation has been developed to solve problems like voltage profile violations and congestions. Another important method, especially with regard to resilience, is the self-healing capability to resupply clients after permanent faults.

Die Vermittlung von Idealismus und Realismus in der Klassischen Deutschen Philosophie
Der Begriff »Klassische Deutsche Philosophie« setzt sich zusehends gegenüber der alten Bestimmung »Deutscher Idealismus« durch. Dies geschieht vollkommen zu Recht, denn letztere führt in die Irre. Tatsächlich verfolgen Fichte, Schelling und Hegel zusammen mit Kant das Anliegen, Idealismus und Realismus als einseitige Positionen zu überwinden. Ausgehend von diesem gemeinsamen Vorhaben entspinnt sich zwischen ihnen eine Kontroverse, die in unterschiedlichen Lösungskonzepten mündet. Die vorliegende Arbeit stellt die unterschiedlichen Ansätze zur Vermittlung von Idealismus und Realismus, die in der Forschung bisher eher vage präsent sind, erstmals systematisch anhand ihrer historischen Entwicklung dar. Ein Anhang zur Analytischen Philosophie belegt die Relevanz der Fragestellung auch für die Philosophie der Gegenwart.

Vermehrt ist auch im "Mutterland der Aufklärung" zu beobachten, dass in gesellschaftlichen und politischen Diskursen nicht allein rationale Argumente, sondern emotionale Begründungen dominieren. Protestantische Kirchen stehen starker Emotionalität traditionell zwar kritisch gegenüber, jedoch ist auf theologischer Ebene schon seit längerer Zeit eine Schleiermacher-Renaissance zu beobachten und mit ihr ein Interesse an "Gefühl" im epistemologischen Sinn. Die Autorin untersucht, in welchem Zusammenhang erstmals eine Theologie bzw. Philosophie entwickelt wurde, die "Gefühl" zur erkenntnistheoretischen Basis für Glauben angeführt hat. Mit Friedrich Heinrich Jacobi (1743-1819) geht sie zeitlich und sachlich hinter Schleiermacher zurück. Auch Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel sieht in Jacobi den eigentlichen Begründer dieser Theologie und nimmt pointiert auf ihn Bezug.
